Brisbane to Sydney Inter capital Link Failure - monitoring, 18 Feb 2020 12:12am AEDT

Connectivity has been restored, we are currently waiting for an acknowledgement by the third party carrier and then a reason for outage.

All routing have now converged and traffic levels appear to have returned to normal.

Our monitoring has detected a loss of connectivity between our Network in NSW and QLD due to a third party link failure.

We have confirmed with other impacting service providers this this is impacting circuits accross multiple data centres in each state that pass via the same third party carrier.

Customers may see a loss of external connectivity or reachability outside of Queensland via Brisbane.

An alternate path is currently being provisioned while we wait for a response from the third party provider who's primary and secondary paths are both unreachable.
